“I love working at Sunshine Academy. Being an infant teacher is wonderful. I love bonding with the infants and parents. I just love my job.” – Nicki (Infant Teacher)
Working at Sunshine Academy for the past year has been such a wonderful and exciting experience. I feel so fortunate to work in a place that encourages me to improve upon my skills and be the best teacher I can be. The variety of different workshops and trainings are both informative and fun. The tuition reimbursement has given me the opportunity to further my education and grow as an educator! I am very excited to begin the continuing education course I just signed up for focusing on behavior management. – Anna (PreK Teacher)
“Sunshine Academy is full of very skilled, qualified and professional teachers that provide a safe, fun, creative and challenging learning environment for all children during their critical years of learning. What I love as a teacher is how we get the opportunity to watch, experience and be such an important part of the growth and learning of these children and their families! Sunshine Academy is such a beautiful and positive place to be!” – Megan K (pre-K teacher)
I’ve been working at Sunshine Academy for the past year and seven months and for me one of the best things that we have in the school is the possibility to work in a team with three teachers. I’m from Spain and there we don’t have the opportunity to work with a team in the same classroom and very often I felt alone in the classroom and in many cases overwhelmed and stressed. But at Sunshine Academy the day is smooth and for me the experience of connecting with other teachers and sharing ideas throughout the day has made a tremendous impact on me. I really think that the greatest resource that teachers have is other teachers and I am grateful for being part of an amazing team. – Bea (Toddler teacher)
Sunshine Academy is unlike any other place I have worked. I have felt like an appreciated, valued member of the team since day one. The Sunshine staff is one big supportive family that supports, challenges and inspires one another both personally and professionally on a daily basis. Each day here I am learning and growing both as a teacher and as a human being. I feel incredibly blessed that I have found my second home at Sunshine! – Kendra
Sunshine Academy has provided me with endless opportunities to gain valuable experiences in early education. I have been working at Sunshine for 6 years and the IRA with the school match is saving me money for my children to go to college. There are great opportunities for internal and external transfers if you are interested to try different age groups. There is discounted childcare, a competitive salary and great bonuses and raises every 6 months. The workplace is very enjoyable. Sunshine also offers a budget to teachers to continue their education and earn a degree in the early childhood field. I’m happy with my job and I’m proud to say I work for Sunshine Academy. – Fadoua (Toddler Teacher)
